A Day Without Immigrants

Our Los Angeles-based photojournalist captured images from a second day of demonstrations

Monday was a publicized “Day Without Immigrants” nationwide demonstration that urged businesses and individuals to not participate in daily life in response to President Trump’s immigration policies. USA Today did a detailed rundown of stories from different parts of the country. In 2017, a similar “Day Without Immigrants” was held during Trump’s first term.
