Through MSN, The Latino Newsletter generated 67,810 pageviews in 2025.
Beehiiv’s web analytics recorded 6.81K unique visitors and 13.28K pageviews.
I also wanted to share some significant data trends from two social media channels that are seeing exceptional growth for us — YouTube and Instagram.
Here are some of our YouTube wins:
Views increased 252 percent, from 8,915 in 2024 to 31,353 in 2025.
Watch time increased 50.6 percent, from 308.5 hours in 2024 to 464.5 hours in 2025.
In 2025, the channel added 93 new subscribers, up from 49 in 2024 (an 89.8 percent increase).
We now have 144 total subscribers.
And here are some Instagram wins from the last 90 days:
330,154 total views across posts, reels, and stories.
84,885 accounts reached.
71.6 percent of views came from non-followers.
All this data reflects steady, intentional growth across our website and platforms, without paywalls or shortcuts. As we move into 2026, the focus remains the same: publishing independent Latino journalism, strengthening our sustainability, and continuing to earn trust along the way.

What We’re Reading
Tracking Immigration Enforcement: From the Times of San Diego, “At the Edward J. Schwartz Federal Courthouse in downtown San Diego, a coalition of activists, volunteers, and clergy members patiently congregate. Gathered in the narrow, windowless corridors, they wait for migrants to emerge from their check-in meetings with immigration officials. A collective called Detention Resistance has accompanied people to their court proceedings and check-in meetings for years, but when they noticed a shift last May, they called for more volunteers: people were now being detained after their hearings.”
Venezuela Update: From PBS News Hour, “It is rare that a U.S. president would announce covert action publicly. But that is what President Trump did Monday when he acknowledged a strike on a port facility in Venezuela. Media outlets reported it was the CIA that launched the drone strike. It comes as the administration is targeting not only drug smugglers, but Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro himself.”
