Born in Portland, Oregon, raised in the Pacific Northwest and Southern California, and rooted in the Midwest, she brings a cross-regional perspective to her work. She is the former editor of Eater Detroit and the founder of Tostada Magazine, a fiscally sponsored digital outlet dedicated to food journalism that uplifts diverse voices.
